So far we have raised a magnificent £55,000! I think that is excellent for a tiny little charity tio raise. However, we don't have that much money because there are things like printing costs, Public Liability Insurance, advertising, snowdrop appeal keyrings etc. to buy and these things cost money. However, we are pledged to hand over £50,000 to the Radiotherapy Department the grand sum of £50,000 in August. This will provide a great deal but not all of the software necessary to upgrade the current CT Scanner to a Virtual Simulator. WE STILL NEED a further £50K. To raise the money we have so far we have had lots of schools involved, businesses large and small. local artists, bridge clubs, donations from some very kind people, birthday parties where the guests have been asked to donate to our charity instead of buying a gift. You can see some photos of these things in our photo gallery. It is essential that we raise more money to benefit people in OUR OWN AREA who are suffering from cancer now or who might suffer from it in the future. To raise this money we need YOU to help. Yes, YOU! You can send for details of our forthcoming walk from our address on the website or you can download entry forms and sponsor forms from this website. Do it now and start organising your walk. I need 5000 people to walk and each raise £10 either by donation or sponsorship.
