ANGLESEY WALKING FESTIVAL for two weeks Lots of people signed up to walk for us at this event and, with the help of a group of lovely girls from Gwalchmai, over £700 was pledged.  Brilliant!

MENAI RAFT RUN

Come along and enjoy the fun at Menai Raft Run where the boys and girls from Elim Garage, Llangefni will once again be raising lots of money for the SNOWDROP APPEAL. Please support them by being there to cheer them on but even more important by donating lots of money to help us to save the lives of cancer patients in North Wales by contributing towards vital equipment. You can enter for our 20 September walk through Anglesey Marathon's website but you must specify that you are walking for the SNOWDROP APPEAL. There is usually a small charge to register but it will be well worth it as the day is always exciting with lots of attractions and special guest Colin Jackson. It's at Mona Showground, Anglesey.

If you have been touched by cancer you will want to help us to buy special equipment for the North Wales Cancer Centre.  To find out more about how to organise your walk go to the £50K walk page. Instead of organising your own walk you can, if you prefer, register for one of the walks at Mona Showground on 20 September, Anglesey Marathon Day.

18th August 2010 - Cartrefi Conwy Family Day
“Cartrefi Conwy will be hosting a Family Day for all their tenants and families to attend. It will be a fun packed day with bouncy castle, fun bus, dancing classes and much more ending with the Cartrefi’s Got Talent and a balloon race.

All proceeds raised throughout the day will be donated to the Snowdrop Appeal. Cartrefi Conwy are proud to support the Snowdrop Appeal as it’s corporate charity for 2010 / 11.

From the A55 take the turn off marked Old Colwyn, down the slip road to a junction, turn left up the hill. At the roundabout, take the 4th Exit marked Colwyn Bay. Carry on up the road, taking the 2nd right into Eirias Park
